Author Guidelines

Authors must observe the following requirements:

  • The manuscript must be original, relevant to the journal's scope, and not under simultaneous consideration elsewhere.
  • Authorship must be limited to individuals who have made substantial scholarly contributions and accept responsibility for the published work.
  • All authors must approve the submitted manuscript and the agreed order of authorship.
  • The corresponding author is responsible for communication with the journal and for ensuring the completeness and accuracy of author metadata.
  • A valid ORCID iD should be provided by the corresponding author; co-authors are strongly encouraged to provide their ORCID iDs.
  • Authors must disclose all financial and non-financial conflicts of interest. If none exist, a no-conflict statement should be provided.
  • All sources of research funding and grant numbers, where applicable, must be disclosed.
  • Research involving human participants, identifiable personal information, biological materials, organizations, or other ethically sensitive activities must comply with applicable ethical standards. Ethics approval and informed consent must be reported where required.
  • Authors must provide an author contribution statement describing each author's contribution to the work.
  • Authors must provide a data availability statement explaining whether supporting data or materials are publicly available, available on reasonable request, subject to restricted access, or unavailable for legitimate ethical, legal, confidentiality, or proprietary reasons.
  • Material use of generative AI or AI-assisted technologies should be disclosed when relevant to transparency and reproducibility. AI tools may not be listed as authors.
  • Authors must immediately inform the editorial office if a significant error is identified before or after publication.
  • Authors have the right to submit a reasoned appeal regarding an editorial decision where a factual, ethical, or procedural error is believed to have occurred.
